Payment flow
An order moves from creation through checkout to payment, refund, or expiry, with each balance change recorded in the ledger.
Key points
- pending means the buyer has not paid; paid means the net amount has reached the merchant wallet.
- Other states include partially_refunded, refunded, failed, and expired. Unpaid orders expire after 24 hours.
- A browser return is only a user experience step. Use a verified webhook or an order query to decide fulfillment.
